Gomersal St Mary's First and Nursery School is a Church Aided School where everyone is encouraged to develop spiritually and
intellectually, in a reflective and prayerful manner, within the family of our school, church and community.

Our Aims to support the Mission Statement

We believe that children should develop a happy way of being together, so gaining a respect for themselves, for each other
and indeed for the whole of this exciting World - God's World - in which we all live.

We will do this by providing:

	Quality experiences in all aspects of school life.
	A warm and welcoming Christian ethos so that the love of Jesus Christ will be evident to all who come within our walls and so that our children will develop strong Christian values.
	An environment which fosters the child's intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual development.
	A broad and balanced curriculum which is carefully planned to ensure the needs of all our children are met and that they share responsibility for their learning.
